Turning 21

Today Janelle turned 21. It was also the first day back at uni for the new year. Her day started with breakfast in a local cafe with friends then university then a meeting. We travelled up to Perth after work to have supper with her and give her some birthday pressies...

I made her some white chocolate cupcakes.

We gave her a TV and set that up. She also got some books, DVD's, Salt and Pepper grinders, hat, CD, perfume and a few other bits an pieces. Sarah stayed home and did lots of study for tests this week.

Happy 21st Birthday for our dear daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend Nelly - we all love you very much!

Janelle's 21st Lunch

Today we celebrated Janelle's 21st birthday with a lunch at home with family and friends. We gave Janelle a few pressies in the morning so everyone could see them. I gave her the scrapbook album I had spent many hours working on...
We also gave a 21st glass and a 21st book for guests to sign. Dad gave her some wooden ornaments he had made...

We have had weeks of hot sticky weather and we debated whether to try and fit everyone inside but it was all too hard so we set up outside in the heat...

Before everyone arrived we took some lovely photos of the birthday girl (and Teddy)...

And some family photos...

Some with the Grandies - Pop...

Nan and Pop...

A celebration is never complete without a photo of the girls with Kelsie and Teagan...

Tracey arrived with the newest member of the family - her one week old baby son Ethan and introduced him to his Great Nanna...

We all sat down to a lovely lunch of roast meat, some cold meats and salads and sausage rolls...

A speech by Peter...

Followed by yummy custard sponge with profiteroles birthday cake...

A few more favourite pictures from the day - Nicole with Lisa and Toby...

Janelle and Kyle...

Janelle with her extremely proud Great Uncle Don...

Drinking??...

And a few "Toyota" jumps to finish off the celebrations...

Just before Janelle went into town to meet Nicole and Kelsie we took a few more photos with the balloons...

A great day of celebrating!

Gone

Well after months of fiddling with the vacant house behind us they decided to demolish it. Kinda sad to see it go after looking at it for nearly 14 years...

All over very quickly, now we wait and see what gets built.
