Bunkers Bay

This weekend Peter and I enjoyed a mini getaway down south. Bankwest were the major sponsors of the Master Builders Assoc award night and along with another couple we were invited to represent the bank. We stayed at Bunkers Bay Resort. A nice stroll along the beach first...
The resort is set amongst the trees by the beach...Our Villa...Setting up the marquee for the awards ceremony...A lovely long breakfast eaten here overlooking the bay...After we had checked out we went for a drive down to Cape Naturaliste and had a look at the lighthouse and beautiful rugged coastline...A quick visit to see Mum and Dad J and then home.

This and That

A bit of a catch up of what we have all been up to. Peter and I went to the Olivia Newton John concert at Burswood. We caught up with Janelle and Kyle beforehand and had a picnic tea on the grassed area. I really enjoyed listening to Olivia and it was great to hear her sing some of the classics from Grease...
Sarah headed off for her first day of uni at ECU on 27th Feb. She is enjoying her Nursing course so far...Janelle turned 22 and spent her birthday at hospitals and uni. A few of her friends went out to tea with her to celebrate. We got to wish her Happy Birthday over the internet... Emma took a photo for us with her cupcake I made...Janelle and Lexi went to the Taylor Swift concert which they both thoroughly enjoyed...Nicole and Daniel and friends went to the Futures Music Festival and had a great time as always...I finally went into Peters work space to check out his daily view...I started another little quilt to take on our upcoming overseas trip (nice to have something special to sip that wine on under the Eiffel Tower!)...Nicole has now mastered standing up on the wakeboard...We went to the Caravan and Camping show with Wayne and Sue. It was a great day out - no caravan but instead we bought a new smoothie maker...Janelle is still managing to juggle her social life with her studies and last weekend went to another dressup 21st...
