I picked some late flowering roses from the garden which brightened up the table........
The girls all got together and did some shopping.
We went to the Bunbury Eisteddfod Gala Night to be entertained by many talented singers and musicians. This got the girls inspired to dig out the flute and recorder, which they played all morning.
We had to empty all the cabinets and cupboards in the lounge/dining room as we are getting new carpet this week. Peter had to remove all the skirting which also took paint off the walls so he had quite a bit of patchup work to do. I found a little box which contained the icing off the girls christening cakes, some of it is nearly 19 years old! Peter's Mum had made it.....
Sarah made some yummy wedges for lunch....
By Sunday afternoon we had all had enough of the weather so Janelle and Sarah resorted to childhood activities and blew some bubbles. They then went over to the shops and bought skipping ropes!

Some of her putts were very good.
She only lost one ball all day that went into the water, but had some trouble sometimes hitting from where her ball landed!
By the 8th hole she was very weary and was glad the clubhouse was in sight. She says she enjoyed herself despite saying she could have run a marathon in the time it took us and she was tired of all the "gardening" (raking all the bunkers she had been in!)
The room looked quite spacious with everything out......
The trip home was wet and windy. I captured some of natures beauty........
Janelle now has to spend a day unpacking and sorting things out. At least it will be mundane work after 3 weeks of intense study and exams. 
My little prize was a digital photo frame and the photo will be published in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
Peter got the divet of the day with this big chunk of grass...........
After all that excitement I was able to add my golf charm to my Pandora bracelet. I got the charm for Mothers Day and it was my incentive to get a par.
Luckily it happened on Peters last day of his long service leave or I would have been waiting for a long time.
Today we went out to Capel again to use the other voucher Janelle had bought us. Before you start you have to take one of these buckets of sand with you to fill in your divets around the course.
There seemed to be more kangaroos this time lazing in the lovely sun. Just had to get this shot of a mum feeding her joey, so cute. 
This fellow was quite content to watch and nibble the grass.
When we arrived home there was a magpie drinking from my bird bath. This is the first time I have seen a magpie use it , the smaller birds are in it often.
The shelveing is all premade from measurements we provided and Peter fitted them.
Quite a few clothes and junk went into a pile for the Good Sammys. We are very happy with the end result and the wardrobe seems much more spacious.
He then spread yellow sand over all the paving and we have spent many hours sweeping the sand into all the gaps.
We are now having a break from it and waiting a while for the sand to settle and then spread some more over then keep sweeping.
We have piles of the old pavers which we hope to sell soon.
Janelle came home for the weekend to escape the city. Her exams start next week. She made 2 batches of mini muffins - Anzac and Jaffa to take back to nibble on while studying. The yummy recipes were from Nicole's new muffin bible book.
We took her back to Perth today. She had a doctors appointment to see if she needed any booster shots from previous immunisations, which she did - rubella. While we were waiting we wandered down to the Matilda Bay Cafe and enjoyed the view and a cuppa by the water. It was such a lovely day even though it was the first day of winter.
