Another month has come and gone by so quickly! It was very quiet around here and not many photos were taken. With Janelle and Sarah both celebrating their birthdays in February away from home (Janelle in Sydney and Sarah in Budapest) we had a little family get together to celebrate.  Freddo icecream cake is still a favourite and we still love to see who scores the most chocolate frogs in their piece...

Janelle was only home for a few days before her big move back to Perth for her final year of studies. She went up the day before us and we followed with the car totally full and the trailer. She and Emma are setting up in a unit Emma's parents purchased. It was great to get some old furniture and "stuff" out of the house!

 With the weather finally cooling down a bit we planted some green smoothie food - Kale, Silverbeet, Chard, Cos Lettuce, Parsley and some more beetroot. We didn't have a very good summer vegie crop this year which was very disappointing but these have all taken off nicely...

We have been having some lovely Autumn sunsets - this one looked as though someone had just wiped a paint brush across the sky...

We had a little house guest for 2 weeks while his Mummy and Daddy were holidaying in Thailand. Little Sonic was a good boy and loved to sit in the caravan...

Beach walks have been much appreciated and yes they are rain clouds!! This particular day there were extra big puddles for happy doggies to run and play in...

Loving Autumn!

Nicole's holiday in Thailand

Shortly after Janelle and Sarah returned from their trips away it was Nicole and Daniel's turn. They flew to Phuket. They stayed in Patong then joined a Contiki tour group. They had a great group and the first 3 days of the tour was spent in Patong exploring and doing a few activities...

One day was a boat tour to James Bond Island and some kayaking...

Watched some Muay Thai boxing...

Daniel had a go at wake boarding..

Visited Tiger Kingdom (very brave!)...

Mingling with the "ladyboys" and going to the cabaret on Bangalore Road...

Next they all took a ferry out to Koh Phi Phi where they spent some time relaxing at the resort...

Went on a snorkeling trip which they both loved...

Swam at the beautiful Maya Bay...

And partied...

Daniel did a burger eating challenge - he had to eat all this in half an hour - but was defeated!...

They left Phi Phi and caught the ferry back to Krabi on the mainland. Here they visited the Tiger Temple and climbed the 1237 steps to the top...

Went elephant riding...

Sat and relaxed in the hot springs...

Continued to party...

Then it was a bus ride back to Patong where their tour officially finished...

The main reason they went to Thailand was to attend a friends wedding...

Off to the wedding

It was held at this beautiful setting...

After the wedding they spent a few extra days with their friends partying some more...

And relaxing before it was time to come home and back to work...
