August

August was a busy month as we prepared for our holiday. So much to do and organize!  Our little fur babies turned 10 a few days apart... 

 

 

 

Nicole went to Perth and did the Mud Rush event again this year. She did it with Danika and Jacob. It was 9km of tough and challenging obstacles in mud.  A before and after shot...

 

 

Lucy wasn't particularly enthusiastic about having her photo taken...  

 

Earlier in the year we heard that Queen and Adam Lambert were touring and jumped at the opportunity to go to the concert. We took Nicole along with us.  It was fantastic both visually and musically. Although no one can really replace the late great Freddy Mercury, Adam Lambert did a great job...

 

Brian May did a very long solo on his guitar with the  whole audience silenced and in awe...

 

It really was a great night and on occasions they put Freddy singing on the big screen in honour of his memory. We would love to have gone again!...

 

Janelle competed in the City to Surf again this year.  She ran the 12km in 56.05min which she was very happy with...

  

 

 

As we are going to be away for Daniel's, Nathan's, mine, Peter's and Nicole's birthdays we had a little birthday dinner and celebration tonight before we head off tomorrow!...

Engagement!

There was much excitement in our household today with the engagement of Nicole and Daniel! It was a complete surprise for Nicole. Daniel had arranged for them to have a photo shoot in a park near their home. The photographer  knew of his intentions and had a few props and champagne ready!  He had also been and chosen a beautiful ring.  Daniel's proposal went perfectly and was beautifully captured by the photographer...

 



 

 

 

 









 

The excited couple then came and told us their good news! We were able to get Janelle on the phone at Dustin's house in Narembeen so she could join in the celebrations.

 

 

 

 

We are very happy for them both and now comes the exciting times ahead as we help plan for their wedding in November 2015!

 



Photo shoot

Nicole wanted to do some practice with her new camera so Sarah and Nathan became her subjects for an afternoon. It was a beautiful day and they went to a park at Treendale. The afternoon sun made a perfect backdrop for the photos. Here are a few of my favourites...
