Hens night

In 2 weeks time Nicole is maid of honour for her friend Danika. She has been organising the hen's night for many months and what a great night it turned out to be! They started off by doing a pole dancing lesson...
Danika and Nicole

Danika is having a rainbow themed wedding and so was the hen's night...
The 4 bridesmaids in the colours they will be wearing on the wedding day...

They had fun playing the traditional games like making dresses out of toilet paper...
Nicole spent 4 hours making this fantastic rainbow  cake for the night and Danika's birthday the next day...

A "Policeman" knocked on the door after a noise complaint and provided some "fun" entertainment...

Great photography by our Sarah capturing the fun! Certainly a night for Danika to remember!

March happenings

Another month has flown by and here's a look at a few things we got up to...
Janelle went to the Tropfest at Madfish Margaret River winery and enjoyed a lovely evening under the stars with her housemates...
We met up with Louise and Glen in Mandurah and enjoyed a very nice long lunch on the waters edge at Catch 22 restaurant...
Followed by coffee and "churros" at San Churro - I could have eaten more they were delicious...
We met up with Janelle and Mum and Dad J at Samudra in Dunsborough for afternoon tea on the long weekend. We love going to Samudra and exploring in their vegie garden, health food shop and of course eating all the raw and health foods in the cafe...
One of Australia's top bands Birds of Tokyo came to the Prince hotel to perform and all 3 girls went along and had a great time...
We took the kayak out and paddled around Angelsea Island in the inlet and past the Parade Hotel. That night we went to the Sunday session and had dinner with David and Daravann and listened to David's band perform...
We went to Perth with Wayne and Sue to the annual caravan and camping show. It was a good day even though we didn't buy anything just dreamed...
We got invited to represent the bank at the annual Master Builders Assoc awards night at Bunker Bay. The resort is beautiful and it was an interesting (and a little boring) night...

But breakfast overlooking the bay is always a highlight...
An interesting large piece of artwork hangs in the restaurant - it is just hundreds of coloured pencils - old, used and new stuck together with a very effective result...
And one more photo of something hiding hoping not to be put out to her bed - very cute...
