Broome

Nicole decided to give herself a mini break and flew to Broome on Friday to stay with Danika for the weekend. As she has been up there before and seen all the sights they relaxed most of the time - well "chilled" as Nicole says...

Enjoyed the sunsets...

Soaked up the sun... Swam at Cable Beach...And partied at night...We went to Perth last night to bring her home from the airport.

States

Janelle competed at the State Athletics competition again this year. She hasn't been doing a lot of training and her heel is sore again. Anyway on Friday night she ran the 1500m and although she didn't get a PB she was extremely happy to win the bronze medal...

She also ran the 800m today in an "ok" time but didn't place anywhere.

Janelle got to shave some guys heads for the "Greatest Shave" for leukiemia fundraiser - something she really enjoyed doing...

And when she has time she is still doing some volunteer work with the children at PMH for the "Radio Lollipop" program...

School Ball

After much preparation the day finally arrived for Sarah's school ball. She got her hair styled at Rendevous for Hair which took 2 hours...

Sarah did her own makeup (which took her ages), then we eventually got the dress on. A few quick photos before heading to Amelias for the pre ball drinks...

She met up with her partner Alex who presented her with a corsage...

Met up with all her friends and us parents snapped away with the cameras...After their pre ball a few came to our house and they piled into this combi which took them to the ball at the Italian Club. The theme of the ball was Casino Royale...

They arrived to heaps of flashing cameras...Sarah had a great night which was followed by an after ball party at Dardanup and she arrived home at 5.30am.

Cute

We took the dogs for a run down the beach this morning and that always follows with a bath. Tonight Sarah decided to finish off Lucy's clean day with a brush...

She comes up rather fluffy and so very cute...

Future Music Festival

Nicole and friends spent the long weekend in Perth shopping, going to the the football, gambling at the casino and attending the Future Music Festival...


As always they all had a great time!

High Tea

Janelle and friends continued to celebrate her 21st birthday with "High Tea" at the Peninsula Tea Gardens in Maylands...

Feasting on little sandwiches, cakes and scones...

And sipping on cups of tea...

Janelle totally enjoyed indulging herself in all the fine food!

Licence!

After school today Sarah and I went to the Licencing Dept for her to do the Hazard Perception Test. She was very nervous and found the test quite hard but she passed and she now has her licence!

She wasted no time with her new freedom and drove straight out to Dalyellup-and didn't text me when she got there!
