We then packed everthing up that Janelle had got ready for the party and the cakes and drove over to the Albion Hotel in Cottesloe. They had set it up a bit and the baloons had arrived. All was going well until Janelle's laptop wouldn't work through the projector system to show all the phots and video she had put together so we stood around for what seemed like hours helping to get it to work with the staff. Then Kyle had decided to go to Trinity so the surprise was turning against Janelle. Anyway with a few white lies we picked him up and they took me over to Burswood. Turns out after they had dinner Janelle took him to the Albion (he got a little suspicious) and was very surprised with the party and costumes and a great night was had by all...
While the party was happening Peter and I met with some of his customers for dinner at the new Japanese restaurant in the Burswood called "Nobu". Our dinner guests had dined there before and knew we were very basic eaters so they ordered all the food. It was the most beautiful food and I would have to say I think it is the best dining experience we had both ever had. We were very brave and had raw fish, raw tuna and raw lobster. Peter also went for the raw beef...

After a quick trip to a local Spotlight we made our way over to South Perth for the Masonic Lodge awards presentation ceremony. Janelle had once again been awarded a nice sum of money to help her with her studies and these generous people have been her sponsors over the past 4 years...
It was a nice mini break away but we did come home to a stressed Sarah and a partially defrosted freezer...fun.
