Weekending

Today it was another trip to Perth. Sarah stayed home and did some study (well a little bit). First stop was the new athletics centre (not even sure what they call it but we still refer to it as Perry Lakes). We met Dad there and watched Janelle run the 800m in the open category of the senior states. She came 5th and did her fastest time for a few years which she was happy with. The winners compete at national level so it was good experience running with them. On Friday night she ran the 1500m and again did a personal best and got a bronze medal (there was only 3 in the race)...

Janelle did her cool down while we went and parked at Trinity and went over to UWA. There was a craft market called "Up Market" being held in Winthrop Hall which I was keen to have a look at. We also had a look at all the damaged leadlight windows from the storm...

We met up with Janelle and all went into the city for the Masonic Lodge Scholarship presentations. Janelle got her certificate and $750...

These people are Mr & Mrs Stokes who are the donors of her scholarship...

It was a nice afternoon with a very yummy, mourish afternoon tea! We then went back to Trinity and Janelle farewelled her little car as we were bringing it home to be assessed for insurance. Peter and I drove home separately.
On Saturday night we participated in Earth Hour...
Koota's family came home so his days at "Debbie's Day Care" came to an end, he had settled into our little routine... Nicole was happy to have Ant home from his trip to Canada and America and they celebrated his birthday on Sunday and went to the Capelfest. Nicole decorated the hallway for Ant to wake up to this in the morning...

And here he is with his seal cake...

Sarah went to the movies to see Alice in Wonderland again and worked on Saturday.
