New vegie garden

Today we went and bought some vegie plants from Bunnings for our new winter garden. We planted Beetroot, Brown Onions, Garlic, Chinese Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts and some more Brocolli. We got some Potatoes but have decided to wait a little longer to plant those.

We also got some "cat grass" which is for cats to chew on for vitamins and to stop fur balls. Bella chomped into it straight away.

The brocolli and cauliflour plants we planted a few weeks ago have been growing really well and survived our storms last week. I have also been enjoying the fresh spinach leaves.

Peter has been working on the paving again after some days rest from it. I now have a paved area to stand on while hanging out the washing so grass clipping all over my shoes will be a thing of the past......finally!

We went to Busselton yesterday to have lunch with Mum and Dad J at the chinese restaurant "The Jade". The food was very nice.

We drove home past the jetty which is now closed to the public for quite a while restoration work is being done.
