Kalbarri Day 1 & 2

We left Bunbury just before 9am and headed north to Kalbarri. It rained most of the way and it was good to see so much greenery everywhere. We also saw a lot of rainbows...
We took the new coastal road passing Yanchep, Lancelin and Cervantes. We stopped at Jurien Bay for lunch...Then Geraldton for afternoon tea before finally arriving at 6pm. We found our house we had rented for the week, it was nice inside (before we messed it up!)...

Next morning we got to see our lovely deck area out the front...We wandered into town and bought ourselves some food and went to the local tourist centre to check out what activities were available. It was very quiet everywhere. After lunch we drove out to the National Park to see Natures Window. The scenery is spectacular and also has some greenery after all the recent floods...Natures Window from the back...Front...We then walked down to the Murchison River and wandered along the riverbank...
Spotted some wildlife...Wondered how some things grow in awkward places...And saw how high the flood water came with all the debris left around the trees...
Then we went to the Z Bend lookout and once again enjoyed fantastic views...Then we had a feed of fish and chips before settling down and watching the movie "The King's Speech" and having a quick chat to Nicole in Nice France on skype.
