Pinnacles

We packed up all our stuff and Janelle and I walked into town while Peter handed the house keys in. Then we hit the road for the long drive home. After a lovely sunny week the weather soon turned cold and wet the further south we headed. Stopped for lunch in Jurien Bay and it was freezing. We called into Cervantes and then went to the Pinnacles. It was wet and cold so we chose to do the 4km drive around to view the Pinnacles...

Janelle and I were the ones brave enogh to leave the warmth of the car and run up a few lookouts and "touch" a Pinnacle...It would have been a much more pleasant to visit on a nice day and take some decent photos! It is intriging why they have all formed in this spot and it is a much larger area than I thought. Definately a place to revisit and tour through the display and information centre.

After calling into a service station and buying 4 hot drinks we continued on home. I went to take a teabag out of Peter's cup of tea we had bought and it looked like it had been made from bore water, needless to say no one drank their much anticipated hot drink!

We finally arrived home to happy dogs and Poppy.
