Long Weekend

The Monday of this long weekend has always been known as Foundation Day. From this year onwards it is now called WA Day. I guess I am like most people and don't really care what the day is named and enjoy having an extra day on the weekend! It was a quiet weekend for us. A few things we got up to...

Made fresh juices and smoothies and ate new seasons strawberries...

Did doggy maintenance...

Shopped for holiday "stuff"...

Enjoyed beautiful "winter" weather down the beach...

Went and looked at the new display home village at Dalyellup...drooled a little...

Cleaned out the spice rack which is a lot more tidy when you toss out expired stuff and all the double-ups. The cupboards in the family room also got cleaned out and reduced significantly.
I continued my battle against a very annoying flu which has run my life for the past 2 weeks. My new ammunition from the doctor is an inhaler cough suppressant so my very sore side from coughing can heal. Peter is now coming down with it.

We also got into London mode and watched the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations over the 4 days they celebrated...
