One of my least favourite jobs in running the household is defrosting the freezer (along with cleaning the oven and scrubbing bathrooms.) I tend to let the freezer get so built up with ice that not a lot of food can fit in it! I am sure we must be one of the few households that don't have a frost free freezer and still do this awful job. The only positive of it is finding all sorts of forgotten food and having a throw out.
Well today was the day and Peter thought it would be better to take the freezer out onto the grass to save the mess in the kitchen... so thats what we did...
After chipping away at it for a few hours its as good as new but it will be upgraded one day. We say that all the time but it does the job!
