Nice Day 2

After a breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean my first job was to tackle some of the increasing pile of washing. Again everything was in french but we worked it out and also had the added bonus of a washing line outside to hang everything on. Some views from our balcony...

With that job done we decided a bus tour of Nice would be the way to get our bearings. We booked that and had to wait a little while so we checked out the lumpy beach...

We sat on the top deck of an open bus and did a tour around the coast of nice and through the city to the various main attractions.

It was interesting to learn that Nice was originally part of Italy hence the mix of Italian and French style buildings.

it was then time to indulge in some lunch...

We then went wandering through "Old Nice" along all the little streets and did a bit of shopping...

lAlthough it was very hot and we had wandered quite a way we decided to keep going and climb to Cascade Falls and Castle Lookout...

We walked back to the shops to get some food to cook for tea in our apartment. We also went to the top of the building and paddled our feet in the pool and admired the view...

We had the night home and watched the Nice nightlife from the comfort of our balcony.
