Nice Day 4

Today started off with more washing while we were able. Janelle went for a nice long jog along the Promenade almost to the airport...

We walked down to the Flower and Food markets. There was so much fresh produce to buy. We bought our supplies to make our lunch in the apartment and a few other souvenirs. It was a nice relaxing way to spend the morning...

After a rest we went shopping again. Peter had had enough so he went back and read his book while the girls and I went back to the Old Nice area.

It is so much fun wandering the narrow streets and finding all kinds of little shops...

Not to mention the icecream choices...

I settled for Lavender...

After all that shopping we went over the road for a swim. The hardest part is just getting to the water! The pebbles are so hard to walk on...

And when you get to the water the waves just wash more pebbles on your feet which actually hurt (we wont ever complain about the sand at the beach again!)

It was fun people watching and Nicole made a rock castle...
Ted even ventured out...

Our apartment from the beach - second storey- fourth from the left...

As it was our last night together in France and we hadn't tried the "snails" yet we went and found ourselves a nice restaurant for dinner. We ordered just one serve of snails so we could all have a taste...

We watched some of a world cup soccer match then went back to pack for our next big move and prepare Nicole for her trip home.
