Sorrento

We were on the bus at 7.30 for a long day of travel all the way down to Sorrento. Lucky the airconditioner chose yesterday to break down. The first 2.5 hours travel was very pretty through the Tuscan countryside. Lots of people took the opportunity to have rest day...

We stopped for lunch at a huge "Autogrill" then off again through the Chianti area and down past Naples. The ride along the coast towards Sorrento was very pretty and also very high up!

W eventually made it to our motel (La Pace) at around 4pm and this was the view from our room...

The motel was very opulent inside...

Janelle and I went for a short walk then it was back on the bus to go into the main Sorrento shopping area...

From there we got on mini buses and went down to the water for dinner in a restaurant on a pier. A beautiful setting with delicious food...

Then back for some rest before another big day.
